how can I get JDM and still have left hand drive? - is there a strange country-specific model for that?
Huh? The very meaning of JDM is "Japanese Domestic Market" where all cars sold are right hand drive. There are no "JDM" cars with left hand drive.

The highest specification LHD LS400 sold in Taiwan was somewhat similar to the CF specification RHD LS400 sold in the Japanese market in that they were available with rear power seats.

Yup, FM Yokohama. I used to like listening to them since some of thier DJ's broadcast in English and they played decent music most of the time. Better than AFN anyday

Default My first official mod!

I was lucky enough to source some LED tails!

Just test fitted them but can't decide between Red & Clear type versus Smoked Red & Clear (not tinted with film but actually smoked). Kind of hard to tell in the pictures because of the flash but the right tail is smoked.

Red & Clear:

Smoked Red & Clear:

you can see the difference better in this pic:

I will have to look at them in day light and decide which set to go with...always been a fan of smoked red & clear style on older VW Golf / Jetta. Just not sure if I can pull it off against white colour.. Decisions decisions...

So I decided to go with the smoked set...at least for now.

What do you guys think? The car is factory tinted in the back / rear windows so I think it is ok? I need to tint the passender / driver windows eventually to match the rears...

Thanks for the compliments. Now that I got rid of the amber in the rear section I need to do the same with my side markers and front corners.

As my winter project I am planning to do a projector retrofit with LS430 projectors...hopefully I can make it work with auto-level feature. I have been reading up on various threads here and I do see people that retained the feature fine after retrofitting in general but they all seemed to have used projectors with smaller shrouds which is obviously easier. I guess time will tell...

nice colour combo lol. white on black leather ftw. might I make a suggestion. instead of ls430 projectors, why not do the q45 Vulcan lights?

also, the rear window tint may have a bronze hue to them. it is best to re tint all windows if youre planning on adding the front tint. 30% will be perfect.

Thanks for the suggestion but Q45 projectors are not very good at all in terms of actual output...LS430 output/beam width kills Q45's.

But the Q45's do look very cool so I may try fitting them in the high beam location and run a quad projector set up.
