Default Revive 2003 Sport Design Boring Build

Decided to finally make a build thread for my car. I'm not doing anything spectacular, but it'd be nice to have my own timeline as the car does progress. First a little history...

My name is Mike. I work in the US Army, and I move around a lot. I moved to Hawaii back in 2009 and I drove this:

Sadly it was stolen from the military base I lived on and never recovered. After that I went into a slump- enjoyed Hawaii, and deployed ('cause Army). Did some groovy stuff overseas, woke up in a hospital, and eventually made it home to Hawaii again...

]

Eventually the car bug hit me again. After owning five S13's, and still bummed over my red coupe, I knew it was time to move on. In 2010, I happened across something I knew I couldn't pass up!:

Quickly I decided how much I hated 4x4 stance, and with the help of my friends at Revision Audio this happened:

-more soon-

In 2011, the car stayed pretty much the same except for some led tails, chrome trunk garnish, and a cheap SS exhaust. Oh and removed a few badges... I went overseas again for about 8 months, and the GS went into storage. Came back, got a new battery, and pulled her out for a quick picture:

Shortly after I installed Figs engineering rear lower control arms, toe and trac links, and Nagisa Auto front upper arms. The car was raised up to stockish height for safety inspection, and I rocked it like that for a while:

In 2012, the GS got an stainless header and midpipe. It was loud and sorta raspy after 4500 rpm. I also threw some CRAPPY wheels and a fiberglass tte rep lip on it, then lowered the Teins again:

Afterwards, the car was keyed a handful of times, and someone rear ended my in afternoon traffic while staring at an accident. So, it stayed pretty much the same for a long time. In Dec 2012, I was scheduled to move from Hawaii to upstate NY...

I picked it up from the NJ port in late January 2013. Daily drove it (as I have since I bought it) until the snow started disappearing, then for a weekend parked it in the garage for some groovy stuff:

The next monday, I started daily driving it again like so:

Met some pretty rad people here in upstate NY, and started going to a few shows and fundraisers. Never won anything but who cares about that lol..

After winter, my tein coilovers were pretty beat. I ordered some Megan EZ's and slammed out again. Ride height:

About a week later I put the Teins back on and sold the Megans. I'm kind of impulsive sometimes lol...

Looks good and I love the storyline! There's something about an SD with a mild drop and wheels.. Looks so clean and classy. Keep it up!

It's pretty much just an XS Power t61 setup with a whole bunch of Supra stuffs modified to fit..

cliff notes- token solutions dual O2 delete for IS300 repinned to work, "cxracing" intercooler kit, aem wideband and fic6, TiAL MVS wastegate on 5psi spring, Isis boost controller/turbo timer, aeromotive pump, 600's..

Things to come soon: Better turbo, return setup installed finally with my aero FPR, thicker HG, titan cam gear blah blah. Nothing special just a bit more behind the pedal.

My impulse got the better of me and I recently picked up a groovy daily driver. The GS needs a break haha.

Pete, your build is why I decided to make this thread

And I was gonna keep it under wraps mostly until I had wheels back on, but meh who cares. I gots a case of the lows:

Wheels are just thrown on there until I readjust my rear camber. Also replaced my broken fog light recently. Was doing minor trimming to my bumper to fit them with the fmic and accidently dropped it, stupid me.

Revive, whatup man. Love the SD gs. So funny I just read your story timeline and i saw a pic you posted up top that you used in a craigslist ad to try and sell your gs in october/november of 2012. I was like, "hey, I know that gs..... I tried calling that guy to buy it". Lol. Anyways glad you still have the car, its a sweet lookin ride. I ended up buying a 04gs from a guy in ewa beach. Of course it was my second choice gs, lol. Anyway, thought I'd share me flashback. Good luck with your build. How do you like the ride on the ksport bags without the double bellow up front? What psi do you ride on to stay low? I'm on air force, and I'm at about 148 up front and 119 in the back to get a low ride but not hit shock towers.
