Default Broken Dori Sc

Welp, Ive decided to keep my car. Ive been lurking and its about time for a build thread.

This is her, Factory 5sp car with a stock 1jz swap, some coils and a set of works. At this point the wheels have been sold and the 1j is breaking up so its just sitting, but through out the next couple weeks Im hoping to fix my issue, Ive checked the coilpacks, ecu, piping, and took quick looks at the vacuum lines. Im going to check the tps and map sensor this weekend more than likely. I recently installed a wideband and picked up a Map Ecu1 from my buddy so a street tune is also in the near future.

this is how it sits as of now and since I dont have much else to say about it ill post a list of plans and ill update this post as the thread goes on

To Do:

Fix (tps or map?)
Tune
Possibly Aero (bn rep? vertex rep?)
Paint
Single turbo (35r or some holset)
Hydro Ebrake
New 1 piece I/c Piping
95 Tails
New wheels (lots of wheels )
Vent hood one way or another
Full Arms more than likely custom
New coils
Delete abs
Build Cluster

Not in that specific order

Ill snap currenct pictures of my car and parts pile tomorrow

andddd a picture of my old shop, and project. The E21 was my daily, the Rb25 S14 Got a tube front, The Rx7 was a friends it got a small block, then a Jdm 13bt, the Laurel was also a friends and had an Rb25 with 26 itb's and all sorts of goodies its been sold to someone in texas now.

My names Corey and I work at CCtuned also nice to meet you guys

Broken Dori Sc-image-1792168676.jpg So I had some time to work on my car, I got some of my engine covers painted and things like that. I replaced a coupler and checked my plugs but my car is still breaking up and I'm not sure why. Sometimes it runs great and other times it takes a while to build boost or just doesn't build it at all. In the next few months I should have a lot more progress including a single setup and hopefully full boost again :/ lol

If I can find a holset cheap ill fun one of those. If not tho ill end up getting a 35r or something. It really depends because I always say I only want like 4-450 until I see high hp builds then I contemplate around 6-650 lol. I guess it all depends on what's available when I'm ready. The drift motjon kits look really tempting too considering the prices and simplicity of it all.

I totally misread your text lol. Sorry about that, ill get some straight on pictures of the bumper so you can see the piping. It'll look even better when I get some to polish the piping more.

Holset woot woot!

I've had HY and HX powered cars. Those HX35's are awesome little budget turbos. I was seeing 25psi at like 3krpms, and 35psi by 42XXrpms.
That shop had me drooling too btw.

I never dynoed (self street tuned), but on my specific platform (DSM,90-99 turbo eclipses) people with comparable setups were seeing about 530-570AWHP.

The turbo itself didn't seem to run out of power, but the stock intake manifold+stock valvetrain made it kind of peak around 6,500rpms.
