Car looks very nice but too bad it's all show and no go ~ which seems to be the trend for most imports these days.
A car this flashy had better have a V8 and some serious HP unless you just want to impress people with pictures.
This is Lexus biggest problem, they do not have a single performance car to draw buyers away from the AMG, M-cars or the CTS-V clientele. If Lexus is ok with this then they lost a big piece of the pie IMO.
Wow, this is probably my favorite build on the '14 IS. I seriously fall more in love each time I look.
Will you be posting any interior pics? I know you said you didn't change much apart from the seat belts, but I'd love to see how that looks.
How/where did you get yellow seat belts??? Very cool!
The team at Platinum Motorsports did it. I really envisioned yellow seat belts with this build to go with the LFA Peal Yellow Paint.

I can't get over that grill...
Thank you for the kind words. When the car's second phase is completed we will have full interior shots, new exterior shots, the new Lexon Exlusive kit, new Vossen VF/S flow form technology wheels and a full video.
Wow great looking car, beautiful build! Okay, now I seriously want those Vossen CVS as my first rims for my 2GS, absolute fav. Is that your LS? Love them in White.
OP with all the respect but this Car is ugly.... if I was the owner at vossen I will pay you to take my product of your car. why in gods name will you paint the car yellow.., and what is the deal with that front add on lip and the white at the bottom end ??? and keep the atleast the color theme going black and yellow. Why is your grilled silver ?? so far you have spend a **** load of money (which i respect) and the only thing so far that looks good is the Brembo BBK..

but if it makes so happy then so be it.......
With 2 posts duly noted.. if you read the complete thread, you will see the explanation on the choices made and it surely wasn't to please everyone, a build rarely does that. If we all lived to please others and not offend we all would drive grey civics.
Cliffs, this car is painted Lexus LFA Pearl Yellow specifically to draw the relationship closer to the LFA, the car the IS was partially influenced by. It was risky and surely not for everyone in a world where it seems OEM colors are all white/gray and black.
The grill was painted silver to also be different. This was the most challenging and interesting choice and we honestly are not huge fans on it.
Hopefully you like the changes coming soon, if not, I'm sure you will let us know.
