hey guys i have a quick question about replacing my engine on a 08 lexus is350, the car was floored and now has a knock in it and metal shavings in the oil. I'm thinking about replacing the engine and before i look for a used one i want to know if there is anything i need to know before i get started.. is it even possible for me to replace it or only the dealership has to do it??
any comments and knowledge you guys know about this i would highly appreciate it.,

Why would it not be possible if you get the same exact engine, and the correct tools to do it. I've never done anything like that but my guess is that it will be a plug and play if you are using the same engine.
