Default AznRacer build thread

Hello everyone, I'm Tony many of you may have remember from the ls430 forums. It has been awhile since I build a car so hope y'all's enjoy.

First off I striped the back seats and trunk panels for Fat Mat installations. Did this in my previous car when I installed air suspension and it really help keeping the compressor noise to a minimum. Plus it makes the oem sub sound nicer

Now on with the air management, with this car I'm using Ridetech Ridepro e3 with the height sensors. I've been doing air for quite awhile now using many different companies such as Accuair Elevel, autopilot v2 and v1, manual setup and etc. but never Ridetech so im giving them a try plus I got a really good deal on it too

1/4" soft lines thru out the car for now. However by end of summer I'm going with hardlines for the trunk setup.

I end up going with D2 air struts. I only drive this car on sunny weekends so i cant see myself spending $4699 for basic air runner and the OTG kit so this will do. I'll be the first LS460 in the state with these struts so finger crosses also 2 of my buddies are on similar setup so ill give it a shot.

Btw if anyone interested in hardlines setup I suggest you look at this thread. There's a lot of very good material all about hardlines. I've read/view all 43 pages

Nice! I will definitely be following your project as I will be installing air ride on my LS460 as well. These pics will be helpful, especially with the interior panels pulled off so I can see where I might be running the lines.

Will you be running the air lines for the front bags through the cabin or outside the chassis?

Since I'll be running mine through the interior, I was thinking of running bulkheads in the fender areas and run a short line to the bags. That way, if I ever need to replace a hose on the bags, I wouldn't have to tear out the interior and rerun the new lines. Or will I just be adding more areas prone to leaking as the number of connections increase?
