Thanks, means a lot. There's been a lot of great builds come and go in the 2IS world.

haha Yep. Thanks Mariano.

Thanks everyone. Not much left for me to do cosmetically this year, or that i could get done in time before Wekfest Texas in December. Touching up some "rough edges" around the car and getting some performance aspects back in line. I guess i need to start dreaming up something fresh for 2014 for the car now...
Truth is I love forums. You can know nothing about a car/bike and turn out learning so much. The issue is some arent on here to be helpful productive and opinion based i guess you could say in a nice way lol. People use jealousy to base comments. Not all are like this. Truth be told man your from what I can read lol, a genuine car enthusiast that doesnt show boat about mods/etc. and I respect that, so its all good love the car man!

Girlfriend got my engine bay pieces carbon fiber hydro dipped for my birthday, and added a cusco strut bar too. now I need to clean up the rest of the engine bay. Side panels won't be added either.

Mostly finished the fog covers too. Just didn't sand them and clear them yet.

You'll have to find a girl into cars on your own tho

Google hydro-dipping. It's pretty cool stuff. A good alternative to the china made carbon engine covers.

Thanks Raj. They have anyyyy kind of pattern you want for hydro dipping. You should do a small piece in red cf to see how you like it!!

Not sure which pieces you're talking about? The main engine cover and radiator cover in front were dipped. The white pieces in the bay need to be redone, I attempted spraying the star fire pearl two stage at hem with air guns and came out off colored so a shop will have to fix my mess on those lol

wow sick shot! need more pics asap

and wow ! thanks for introducing me to hydro dipping, certainly did not know about it before today

if you don't mind me asking, how expensive is it to get it done, and is it a common thing for shops to do? for some reason i've never heard many people done it..

No more pics, sorry! Only one i took out there.

I dont know how new hydro dipping is, but its an emerging field, in Houston at least. I think it will do well, it's quality stuff and endless possibilities on what you can dip and patterns as well. Invest if you can. haha jk, kinda.
