I have the porter cable and all sorts of polishing compounds... all I can say is anybody who is still doing this must not have any young kids. After I started having kids I quickly decided that polishing the car properly takes waaaaay too much time.

Lol, that's why I take a day off and only do it once a year.

Agreed that time is the limiting factor for me. I just tried the Meg's wash and wax anywhere to see if I could get scratch free results in a shorter amt of time. Doesnt do a perfect job ( in terms of a dedicated wash and wax job) but it is something I am going to start to do more regularly.

Bought these off a fellow Lexus owner. These are off a 2010 LS600H

Specs:
19 x 8 Square set up, Black Pearl Chrome
32 offset
Tires are 245/45 all around but was planning on going with 235/40 on the front which is what comes stock on the 19 inch GS rims now. With the current tire set up I am rubbing slightly on turns in the fender lining. For rear tires not sure what to go with yet on a 8 inch wide rim but was thinking either 245 or 255/40.

Also, was thinking of painting the center caps black? What do you guys think?

I think you should lower it. But those wheels look sweet!

Looks like Batmans Lexus

Yea I'm planning on lowering it after I get lower profile tires. There is no way I will be able to lower it with the tires that are on it now.

Definitely paint the centercaps, if possible the same black pearl chrome as your wheels. Tires I would recommend 245 for the 8" wheel. Looks great, I'm a fan of black pearl!

A few pics with the new shoes on. Went from 45 series tires to 35 series tires Continental Extreme Contact DWS.
ALot more gap now with the thinner tires.
