I don't know how you checked the service records. I usually do through Lexus.com website. Register your car and VIN through the "Owner Resource" feature, then under "service history" you should see what was done and/or if your car need any recall/TSB done.

Hope you enjoy the car.
Thanks, I did check the service records through the Lexus website but did not see any TSB's or recalls that needed to be done.

Yup, works flawlessly. I've had one for a few years now, worked perfect on my 3G, 4 and now iPhone 5.

My puddle lights turn on as I walk up to the car. Doesnt work everytime though. Be aware of the cam gear overhaul TSB. Being in FLA, dash rattles shouldnt be as bad.

Enjoy the ride.

What is the cam gear overhaul TSB? Is this something I will notice if it needs to be done? Should I mention this next time I am at the dealer?

Search it across this forum. Did you get a list of TSB's done on the car?

In some cars (including mine) the car would give a horrid grinding sound at start up. It is a major overhaul to get it corrected...paid for by Lexus/Toyota.

They also increased the warranty coverage of the drive train to 100,000 miles....as for the year extension I cant remember.

Thanks I looked it up and I think I may have that issue. I looked at the services done and I did not see any TSB's done, I will have to wait and go to the dealer to see if they had done any TSB's to the car.

Ended up getting window tints 15% all the way around and did a full wash, claybar, 2 step polish, sealant on the car. While the polish I used certainly gave the car a nice glossy look and cleaned up the car there are still alot of imperfections and scratches on the paint. I'm going to have to go with a heavier polishing compound and a much more aggressive pad to see if I can get more correction. Just not happy with the results I got.

One side untouched and the right side was after applying Meguiars 105 Cut polish and Meguiars 205 Finishing polish.

Obsidian is tricky! M105 M205 cleans it up nicely, but the paint is just super soft and scratches easily. I try to stay away from washing the car and I lightly use a california duster. Also you may want to finish off with a good long lasting sealant, expect to use lots of waxing with this car lol

congrats on the new Whip. I just bought an 07 GS 350 RWD-blue, not sure the actual paint code. one thing you can do if you don't want to wash the car very often is to go to a self service car wash and use the spot free rinse to remove dust, bird crap etc. then, instead of drying it with a micro fiber towel, just hop onto the freeway and let the air dry it, after this just get some meguries detail spray to remove any water spots left over.

Diesel350,
If later on a heavier polishing compound still doesn't do it, I recommend a light path of wet sanding with 2-3000 grid paper, then rubbing compound, polish, sealant, and wax. The claybar only clean stuff on top of the paint, doesn't help much with scratches.
But to be honest, you did a lot of work already to the car and it looks good already. Hope you have time enjoy driving your car as much as working on it.

Thanks to Anthrax on can now listen to Internet Radio through my Iphone 5 via the BlackBerry Remote Stereo Bluetooth Gateway. As you can see it's tiny and fits perfectly in the console and it sounds just as good if not better then the radio.

Working out for you? I love mine and don't think I could have a car without that function now.
