The thing with 3000k hid kits are they're usually a hit or miss for the yellow that everyone wants...most of the time its gna be a miss haha. Maybe if you use the 3000k hid with the yellow capsules, it might come out to the color you like haha. Any chance anyone got pictures of that?
Give me a couple days, I placed an order from xenondepot for a 3k kit hoping I get that nice yellow I'm looking for. I tried some other kit and it was a miss!
Sweet, please keep me updated! I won't be buying the fog bulbs for a while, i'm still waiting for my tax return so I can get myself some extra little goodies for my car and camera
Yellow capsules are these yellow covers that go onto the reflectors of the bulb inside the housing. The whole foglight glass will look clear but when you turn them on, the light will hit the capsules/covers which then gives a yellow light output.
It's been a while since i've updated my thread, but I still own this car lol. I've changed the wheels, added a lip, and changed a few minor things in the time I've had it. I also got another camera, so i'm more motivated to work on my car again
Here are some more recent shots of my car. I painted the lip myself in my backyard, added some side markers, and retrofitted some projectors into my car.
Sadly, the lip broke off, but I got another one and they provided me with some better brackets, so it should be solid once I paint it and install it. I'm also getting rid of the viennas to get something a little more aggressive. I've got a ton of parts to install, so just stay tuned for more updates now that i'm back lol.
