My 93 LS400 (mild build thread)
Got this thing in October for my daily 100 mile (round trip) commute. Has around 193k and is in pretty good shape.
So far I have done this:
Replaced the Plugs, Wires, Rotors and Dist Caps.
Air Filter
Fuel Filter
Replaced both the Driver and passenger side window / door switches (junk yard is GREAT).
Threw on some Iggee Black and Grey Seat Covers.
The suspension is on need of some TLC so I am going to replace the shocks, coils (bought H&R 1" Drop) ball joints and a couple of other parts.
Over the last week I bought a set of Konig Rims, 17x8 +40 and some 235/45 Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S tires. Got them mounted and balanced yesterday (PIX SOON) and I admit, an 18" or 19" would have looked a little nicer, these look pretty slick. The 1" drop will help too :-)
I'm thinking I might throw on a spacer in the rear to profile the tire a little more to the body.
That's about it - like I said above, I will have some before, during and after pix soon.

Got em on
Stock Set up vs. with New Wheels (17x8 +40 on 235/45 Michelin's). I think they look pretty good. Once I get the new shocks and coils on, it will close up some of that "gap",
And yeah - that's my other "hobby" behind the first set of pix. I've been wheelin' fora while and built a number of Jeep's through the years. I guess you can say the suspension work that is going to be done on the Lexus will be cake in comparison

Finally got it done....
I ended up going with Sensen Shocks and H&R 1" Coils. Replaced both ball joints, TRE's and Sway Bar Links. I just finished today so it still needs to settle but man what a difference the ride is. 3 out of 4 of my old shocks were done, and the front BallJoints were so trashed. The ride is more solid and it's going to take a while to get used to. No more bouncing when I hit a bump - HAHA and no more clunking.
Kinda dirty in this pic. I will post a couple more later this week.
