If the front cover was undamaged could you have just used the entire IS turn signal without having to mod?

I am wondering how they did that Car looks really good
CIC Auto added 2 inches to the entire surface on all 4 pieces.

here's a general overview of how they completed this mod:

- locate and mark an area where the cutting will take place. CIC Auto also used tape after marking

- find fiberglass or hard vinyl to connect to the 2 halves together. CIC bought this from Home Depot

- cut the material to the desired length and width. if you want to do a 2" extension, then make the width 4", 1" above and below the middle of the 2" extension area

- rivet and glue the material to each half

- apply fiberglass and bondo, then sand

- once you get the correct shape, apply prime and sand

- when everything is looking perfect, apply paint and clear coat.

below are some pics from CIC Auto:

you should be able to but I'm not sure if the wire harness will be the same. The reason I didn't go this route is because the IS mirror that I bought didn't have auto dim.

Thanks! No problem with any wires being too short. I didnt have time for CIC Auto to lower the exhaust. Will do it when I get my car back from Dorbritz Designs.
