Bunch of time consuming crap down tonight
Got the hood on - front subframe for the bumper - mounted the bumper but haven't screwed it in yet as i want to mess with hood alignment a little more, switched out the broken mirro on the driver side, finished up the wiring in the passenger door - then took the stock seats out and test mounted the TRD seats - had to cut the brackets of the stock seats so will figure that mount out soon but have the seats sitting in the car on the stock mounts rihgt now just need to either weld them or bolt them together.
Pretty productive night, ****ty iphone pics with bad lighting enroute.

Crazy times man, Reserves keep calling me up - have to leave again for 3 weeks end of this month - just got back 3 weeks ago My normal job is thankfully understanding but it still sucks as I can't seem to get anything done. Interior is still not together. Got a Coilover wrench and adjusted the suspension, went down an additional 1/2 in the front and easily 2 inches in the rear. Have tires ordered for the front. Picked up metal to weld the old removed seat mounts to the new seats - that will be a 3-4 hour affair and I'm short on time. Priority is tires and then Seats mounted. Once that is Done I can tag it and start driving it, then I'll work out all the bugs.
In other news the detractors from working on the Lexus are almost straightened out. Got the Suburban back driving, have to bench bleed the master cyl, and then rebleed all the brakes, but ball joints are all done and it will be for sale shortly - then money to go into the Lexus comes in;-)
The Saleen is now running - but has some vaccum leaks, once they are dialed in off to paint the stock mustang hood and then put it for sale... SOON I'll be focusing on the Lexus

It's Alive - again.
Body Panel alignment issues...
Will work with this next time i pull it out, Felt Great to drive it and get some Gas...
the only side I like the height, back driver side.
Probalby going considerably lower all the way around...

And then - Seat mounting...
Time for Fabbing and welding - holy crap this took alot longer than I expected...
Drivers seat is mounted, I have a set of 5 Points so going to install them now instead of the other, when I was modifying the brakets I limited my adjustability on accident so Have to pull them back out and put a flatter head on one of the bolts, but overall, super happy. While driving, one of my Xenon's went out, not sure if it's a Ballast or what...

Had some more time tonight, so took the rims/tires off and lowered about 2 inches in the front and leveled it off - then got the back passenger side to sit where the back drivers side sat, looks sick where it's at although the front is too low right now going to force me to roll the front fenders a bit at this high so may go back up abotu 3-5 turns on both sides, also took some of the dampning away, the rears were full stiff due to the drag setup and rubbing, so now that its lower i took it down to like 10 clicks from soft, but ti's a little too soft so going to 17 clicks on the Megans.
Took the drivers side seat out, took the cover off and welded the post inside the back that was broken it's money now, my homemade seat brackets were limiting adjustment so took them apart and made the changes to them and decided to hold off on the 5 point harness setup for now so just put the stock seatbelts back in.
Then moutned up the brights and took a spin.
Man, even with the Sticky Kumho's in the back it will roast them in boost, fun fun. I do Not like the Auto though
I will rock it and hopefully get it in the 12's consistently on this setup on ET streets while i"m dialing it in. The Tranny swap is going to happen sooner rhather than later now after driving it some and an LSD is going to move up on the wanted list after tonight and aggressive driving I did.
Long way to go, but progress being made, I'm going to take the front lip off the 92 stock from bumper and rock it for a while, bumper itself is not in that bad of shape, but the lip is horrible. Found my Good headlights and will put them in and do the body panel and Hood lining up work ASAP and then get it all one color with Plasticoat. Getting very close to Track time and complete reassembly.
Car looks like crap, but it's came a LONG way in the last week or so.
No pic's, it was after dark for all of this stuff done tonight.

It's coming along well. Really exciting to see the progress!
I do think an LSD is a wise priority right now. You could go with a TT Torsen but you won't want the tall gears that come with it. It's pricey but have you looked into OS Giken's 1.5-way LSD? It will list for the TT Auto Supra fitment. I have heard nothing but good reviews of it from Supra owners. Above 500hp they tend not to like their Torsens and really, Torsens aren't the best if you're primarily looking into launching the car at the track a lot. They're more road course differentials that are effective up to 400-500hp.
Another thing is the rear end you have. If you're on the SC 4.27 open rear end with the 1JZ VVT's original auto transmission I believe it should have been 3.92 factory gearing. A 4.08 was the aggressive factory ratio for the R154 you want.

So - Ordered the following:
Hood Struts x 2
Trunk strut
HKS SSQ BOV - my sons only request on the entire build.
I'm fighting the urge to order up the Blue Dip Your Car kit and Plasticoating it Blue, going to stick with the rattle can Plasticoat Black for now, but will probalby just get a good plastidip sprayer and buy it in bulk, I wouldn't mind the Green for a while, also the Blue for a while.
Figure if done right I could change the look of the car every Year or so for under 200 a year;-)
Freaking have to leave for almost 3 weeks next Tuesday so build progress will stop as I have plans from Thursday on.
Saw 3 SC300/400's today in Melbourne, 2 over at BCC while I ws taking a few pics of the Suburban to put it up for sale.

I'm leaning towards the Driftworks 20g setup for now as well as it's alot cheaper and it will satisfy me while i do the rest of the necessary items - tranny swap, injectors, standalone build up, etc, etc, etc.

I have two diff's right now, not sure what either of them are, i know that the spare one I have right now is in the 4.xx range though - I would like to go to like 3.27's as I am getting more comfy with the idea of Megasquirt and self tuning again, haven't done it in 7-8 years but we'll see in the future.

There should be only two high-geared diffs: 4.272 (automatic SC and most GS) and 4.083 (manual SC, manual 97-98 Supra NA and I think the 96-97 GS300 only). A 3.26 is a pretty low gear. Usually it's best for V160's. Alternatively, have you considered a 3.769 Auto TT diff gearing? I believe it's also the same ratio with JDM Aristo GTE rear diffs.

So I'm in Savannah right now for about a week and here for another 8-10 days so just thought i would update, the hood struts came in and I got them on, so nice and will make lining up the panels alot easier now
The SSQ BOV came in as well but of course no time to install it, haven't even looked at it but I got the "universal" kit - is there anything I am going ot have to do to get it to work in place of the stocker?
I'll look into it but wanted a brief update and to put that - I'll be getting it tagged by Mid April and on the Road to start daily driving it and working the bugs out - then Track times will be Very shortly after
