Default LXurious Build thread

FINALLY! have my build thread started. Im about 75% with this car. 12K blue fogs to match the blue tint found on hybrid models. Wheels are 22inch MRR HR3 design 255/30/22 front and 305/25/22 rear. LED's throughout the car I will upload some pics of that soon. Smoked tail lights.

If anyone says this is too much chrome/bling then by all means don't put these on your car, but this is MINE and I have always wanted chrome wheels since a kid so I am living out my dreams.

First, thanks for taking the time to update the wheel and tire info thread! I wish others would take a couple minutes so they can add to the thread to help others...so props to you on that!

The car looks really nice. I have always liked this wheel design! As a fellow 600 owner, I can tell you one of the best mods for an LS with air suspension is the data systems controller. I concur, the car would look even better with a mild drop. The controller allows you to fine tune how the car sits and it will completely change the look without sacrificing ride quality. Under $800 on eBay and its plug and play.. takes 20 min to install by yourself. I have a thread about this on the first page.

I'm also interested in the 305/25/22 Toyos...how do they ride? I think that is the ideal size for the 600s weight. I like how wide that tire looks.. is it noisy? Any feedback on that would be great.

Nice job man!!

Thanks everyone I'm proud of the way everything came out. To CJTTY the Toyos don't make much noise especially when in Hybrid mode, but the low speed+sound proof cabin help also. I can't comment too much on the tires untill i fully experience them, but my early predictions are they will be noisy after a couple thousand miles. Ride is harsher, but thats to be expected with 22 in chrome rims, but the tire size is perfect for this car feels less of rubber bands than 245 and 295. Need to sit in someones car with the Falkens to really say if they are better or not.

More pics coming soon! But meanwhile show some love to my cardomain page.

I knew there was another member here with 305s in the rear a while back but its a rare size to go with. I have rubbing with 295s at stock height with my Vossens. Any rubbing ?? Im about to shave the rear right fender a couple of millimeters .

Could depend on offset or if the wheel was stretching the tires. I am running 10.5 in the back with 35mm offset its tight, but I haven't driven on a full load with 4 passengers. So far with the heavy batteries and my sound system in the trunk no rubs what so ever.
Still havent driven more than 400 miles on them so its early. I think I might have the widest tires ever put on a hybrid!

Added another pic with my chrome valve "Lexus" Logo.
