8052JZ's NA-T Build
***********FOR THOSE THAT ARE LOOKING FOR A BASE MAP FOR YOUR NA-T WITH THE COP IGNITION SETUP. GO TO PAGE 4 POST #57. IT WILL BE AN ATTACHMENT ON THE BOTTOM OF THAT POST***********
Long story short, thought I'd share my build progress and all the few things I’ve done to make my SC more of my style. Started the NA-t swap as my own Bday present to myself, which than of coarse turned into a semi full SC build. As I go along I will post links to all the threads that either gave me some ideas or that have helped me along the way
She’s sits as follows:
-Na-t swap done with AEM ecu. rx7 550cc, XS-power mani, t60-1 garret turbo, tial 38mm gate, 3" Cx racing IC, AEM wideband, glow**** oil and boost gauge.
-Full sound, Kenwood single din radio, clarion amp powering all four mbquart speakers. 5.25 Up front and 6.25" in the rears with custom baffles and 2 10" infinity subs powered by a kicker mono amp. Box still needs to be made for the sub.
-Fatmatted the rear portion of the car along with the gas tank. Doors will be next if i have any left after the trunk.
-Almost done with the two tone tan/black interior with OEM black upper windows trims except the front upper door trim were dyed SEM GM black because I couldn’t find good oem black window trims. Still needs to be put back in after carpet cleaned up and seats put in.
- Traded a turbo for some Megan lp coilovers that are installed but still needs some adjusting.
Most of this build was done at night so sorry for the crappy pics but they should do!
So here it is from start too..... well i guess on going!!
Part I: NA-T and Emmisions delete!

next up is getting all the IC pipes routed. I decied to go with 2.5" pipes to make it easier to route. and this is a CX racing IC piping kit i got and ended up using the cheapo BOV for now until i can find a nice used one. this was the longest parts of the swap i think.
and i just realized that I didnt take to many pics of this parts lol
Had my buddy weld up all the pipes
mean while Installed and wired the map

Installed LED strips in the AC backlight which turned out better than expected along with the button lights to redish/amber to match the guage needles
than got started on making some front door speaker baffles out the OEM baffles than stuffed it with a little bit of polyfil
I did have to cut the baffles to make them flush than cut out some mdf than put some silicone to on the edges to seal it off and skrewed the mdf on. Took about 30min and worked out great.

Made a harness from the OEM speakers wires and 12v+ switched to the amp to keep everything nice and tight. Eveything still needs to be all ziptied into place
2guage power wire to a splitter than running 2 4guage power wires to the amps. and two 4guage grounds for the amps. Gave the systema check and all is good. Just need a little bit of an amp tune up and good to go. Later on my buddy with help me make a fiber glass box for 2 10" inifitny subs when he gets time.
next thing up is to clean up the carpet and replace the nasty torn up oem seats with some rsx black seats utilizing the oem rail.
until than cheers

So I was messing around with the RSX seats and the oem rails lastnight and I dont think its going to work becuase it makes the seats way to high and the seats I got dont have the oem rsx sliders on them. Im gunna tray and source some out or even found some sparco rails and see how I can use those to mount them. I was hoping to use the oem SC rails and have a switch for the motor to move them back and forth but its just way to high.
Heres a thread I was looking at that looks promising:
