I was wondering what the canister was underneath the intake since i have a NA motor on a stand and never really notice it on my sc300. Too bad i am not keeping my intake manifold due to the lack of room with my exhaust housing and my throttle body. By the way really nice job on the arm rest. Were you able to find the smooth leather that comes in the SC?

Went driving around over the weekend making sure everything was nice an tight all around and than something bad happens... well not that bad but still sucks kind of thing. I noticed while in boost at about 9psi lots of heavy white smoke is pooring out the exhaust... pulled into the driveway, looked around and all seems ok but even at idle, white smoke! Checked the rad fluid to see if there was a white slushy substance that indicates a blown HG along with the oil. All seems ok. HHmm must be the trubo So pulled the turbo and even before I got it off I got oil, and sure enought the seals have blown out and this is what I found.

Couple hours old haha
Ya I know I know.. I should of taken my time on that return and make it actually work but I was to anxious to get on the road I ordered some alumiunum tube to extend the drian flange on the turbo and shorten the line. That should take care of it.
yea no biggy! This Friday I'm dropping the turbo off at apex performance turbos (broda805) to get some fresh seals in place so no big deal

So I haven’t updated you guys in a couple weeks. I got the turbo back that same weekend but the drain tube I ordered has not come in yet which is why it’s not back on. It’s been over 2 weeks and it still hasn’t come in... Something happen with shipping but I hope to get it today and get started on that drain extension and get the turbo back on.
While I was waiting I started a few other things. Scored 3 aem digital gauges for cheap and ordered 2 more. Than I ripped out my old gauge setup to get started on the new AEM set I got. going to Run 3 under the radio like before (oil pressure, Fuel pressure, water temp) than I’m making my own A pillar pod for AFR and Boost so I don’t have to keep looking down for AFR while in boost.
Also started to install a Snow performance methanol kit so I could run a little more boost on the GE HG.. Waiting for the intake pipe to be finished welding up... I had 2 meth nozzle bungs welded on and I replaced my knock off bov with a HKS SSQ I had from my other car. Hated the way the knock off sounded
Won’t have any more time to get things done until Sunday night.. So until than cheers
