So I was bored tonight and felt like starting my build thread. I’m a Soldier currently stationed in Korea and have been following the CL boards for a bit now. I been scouring these pages for hours on end to find the perfects mods for the car that I’ll be buy and after numerous comments and suggestion, I bought a 09 Lexus 600hL with the executive seating package. I can’t really take photos of it atm but I’ve uploaded photos that the dealer posted to give you guys an idea. Although I won’t be able to drive the car until December when I come back to the USA, I can still order parts to mod it!


Here are some of the things I want to do:
1. data system (thanks CJ for the suggestion on buying this as the first piece when modding)
2. Tinting ( I got some really good info on that tint thread)
3. Nike’s, DRL’s, reserve, and inside ( thanks to CJ, Tee, Shibumi, and some others)
4. Top and rear spoilers
5. 22inch Vossen CV1 in matte silver ( only buying this kinda last because I am driving to Texas from California so I don’t want to mess the wheels up)
6. Wald Executive body kit ( Will probably have to rethink this since it’s so expensive)
7. Meet up with CL and Lexus enthusiasts and talk about other stuff.

Korea has been really good, I have my family here so its nice and we travel a lot. I been here 4 years after I came back from a 16 month deployment from Afghanistan. I been hiding out but now its time to go back.hehehe.

 

Yea CJ, CL has the best info because it comes from true Lexus enthusiasts. All the write-ups are awesome and very helpful. And the ability to get opinions and help from members and sometimes dealers is great.

Yea I been saving for my dream car for a long time, 3 deployments!! lol.

I also just found out while researching to get my car registered in CA that I am exempt from getting a smog check because its a Hybrid! lol

 

How much did you pay and how many miles just curious? Nice car can't wait for the mods to come.

Thanks, I cant wait to start modding. Hopefully I dont get the mod-fever like some of you CL members have. My kids wouldnt have food to eat if that happened..
