Default Skid racing build

So I have been looking for a new shell to build so that I may have a proper chassis. So I found this forgotten 92 sc300 at a shop about 1.5 hours from my house I payed 500 for it delivered. This car was pretty stripped already but I needed to take it further here is a few interior shots after sound dead was takin out and before starting the cage.

After that I started on the engine bay I will be running knuckles and big wheels so I didnt need wheels wells I will be adding supports for the strut towers front and rear.

So I have been looking for wheels since I beleave you build the body of your car around the wheels you want to run so I found these in LA about a 6 hour drive from my house.

I already have the motor I will be runninng its a 1jz I had in my s13 coupe I will be running v-mount also.

I will keep this updated as I move along The cage is in progress right now hope to see it done maybe next week then finish building brackets for the v-mount and then prep interior and engine bay and trunk for paint.

whats up sticks it me Gerald remember me from back in the day over at old secret service?

I am going to be running FEAL coil overs with 14k front and 8k rear springs custom valved.

I will probably do all battle version arms and PBM knuckles.

The car had ls400 calipers laying in it so I lucked out on that saves about 200 bucks.

I dont know how diffrent it will be to drive after being in a s13 for so long. I am excited to be in a longer car though I am cutting everything out that I can to save some weight.

Man sounds really really familiar and you coupe looks even more so...

i really like my sc over my coupe i had... There is a big deifference in the feel of the car from one to the other but it didnt take long to settle in... its actually alot smoother and easier to drive IMO over the s13, if you check my buil look at my steering setup man if you going for a track setup the quickener and all that jazz was a god send lol

I also took another trip to cali to get another set of weds these are 18x12 +0 and 18x10.5 -27 chrome face polished lips and gold hardware.

I also modified a is300 steering column to fit in so I wont have any of the electric tilt and other things.
