Skid racing build
Wow sick man yeah I got aldstadt 1's 18x9.5 +5 front and 18x10.5 +5 rear. That's awesome I really wish I could go wider but I am trying to drift and the wider the more exspensive lol. So I'm gonna stay with what I got lol.
Ya this car is going to drift thats what I am building it for I will be getting another set of four rear wheels that are 11's so I can run a 245 on them.
I see your car used to have aluminum exhaust thats what I want to run on my car 4 inch aluminum straight pipe.
how did your car sounds with that exhaust sound?

Pretty good I liked it. I've only ran the car once tho. I got it semi together tuned it a wile back and took it back apart. But it did sound pretty good. I recommend putting steel plates moulded to the exhaust in a few areas it might rub with a insulator In between them to prevent galvanic corrosion to keep from wearing holes in the exhaust.
right now I have 265 on it and it looks good but its about cost of the tires when I did vegas drift pro am this year i went through 3 sets of new tires so if I could get away with 245's then it would save a little. but its all in the air until its running and see what tire feel right and thats what I will run.
Yeah I'm trying to see is I can pull off a 235 lol. Anyways hey since you have been running drift did they use the magnaflux test or X-ray on the welds or tubing? Did they weigh. It or anything. Cause say I hit 3100 lbs. then will they really make me got 1.75"
Oh damn. I do like that you don't have to tig the cage tho haha. But yeah I'm just gonna do 1.5 and go after you lol. Body wise we will be almost exact. With the rear quarters did you use adhesive to bond it to the car? I have allot of welding and body work to go with mine before she see's a booth so probly be January sometime when it goes in the booth.
I got some perrelli p zero's for sale 275 haha. But anyways it's good to see someone else do what I'm trying to do. Makes me feel better about it. I was talking with my instructor about your x brace in the door I was going to do ladder and be said x is better for obvious reasons but the way you did it he said is harder but much better than a single bar from shoulder and down and the two splices in. I just got my jd2 bender and I got my hole saw setup for my fish mouthes so I'm ready to get started lol. The only difference in our bodies is you still have a sunroof I used u pol fiber lite and a piece from a door skin and made a hard top.
