Yup..I ordered a set back in early 2006 for my Acura TL and I had those on all the time..sold it last year to a friend and he says they still work flawlessly...now back then they were up near $200 lol..now, they give them away with happy meals haha
Had some free time this weekend, so I decided to plasti-dip my front grill...looks a lot better IMO. it really makes the blue hybrid "L" badge pop now..
Basic steps
1. Remove grill
2. Clean grill thoroughly in between all the slats
3. I like to tape things off with 3M painters tape. Takes a few minutes and literally no clean up needed when done.
4. One can of plastidip is enough (under $6 at home depot spray paint aisle)
5. I did 10 light coats about 10 mins apart and sprayed about 10 inches away from grill
6. After last coat, let dry for a couple hours. Time may be longer than what is actually needed, but I had time to wait.
7. reinstall grill without touching painted area. I avoid washing car for a couple days to make sure plastidip is cured
8. enjoy your new front end facelift

the texture of the plastidip is almost like the handle of pliers..so it seems like it absorbs impacts well because there are no chips or anything on his grill. I drive 16 miles a day round trip, so I'm not concerned in the least if he can roll 80mph all the time and have no issues.
