RHD project
What's up CL fam
Well I'm back I sold my Lexus RSP last year now I picked up a 2003 is 300 (auto)
This project will take a few months but I pushing for everything to be finish by aug.
Hopefully I'll be the 1st in Florida
1st) Picking up a rhd drive front clip ....
2) what u guys think 1jzvvtii ,2jzvvti swap or 2jzgte
3)r154
3) power folding mirrors ( ordered of eBay )
4) custom IC kit
4) greddy sp exghust
More to come
Will have pic up of the car tomorrow & when the parts get here

I think you are best off building the factory motor...
it is a huge pain to swap in an Aristo motor...
done both, building the stock motor and turboing it turned out ten times easier and about the same cost in the end... not to mention the stock drivability is retained, including drive by wire, e-shift and all those goodies...

built motor, trans and turbo setup is definitely doable, even when working full time, I should know, I did mine in exactly two months, its just a money issue... switching to RHD, way bigger pain in the *** than anything, and I'm not sure I see the point either, aside from just being different...

Building the stock motor sounds easy I'll look into it .
But I have a 2nd car so The is300 can sit for a while and everything can be done right ..
I found the vvti (-auto swap for 1,000+shipping) , 2jzgte& 2jzvvti 1,800 pick up 2 1/2 hours away from my house ( keep in mind I get to see and test the motor before buying it) ...

My body man said 1week . Before he starts I'll have the rack changed out . The front clip when it gets here will be complete ect motor,drivetrain. All lines in the engine bay will be there . So we will swap what we can and mod the rest !

RHD front clip on the way should be here tuesday or Wednesday
The salesman was trying to sell me the clip with the Beamer motor 6speed with rear end .

Yeah that is gonna be a very nice piece I will make the drive down soon this month and Ill have to meet some of the southern guys lol and take a look at this rhd lex for sure ; )
