2jzGTE SCs - The Siblings of my Supra MKIV Toys

Uh Oh ..
Decided to mess around with the differential I got from a swap with one of my V160 getrag. I said, let me change the oil though the guy said he didnt have it for long and looks like it is new so oil was probably new. But I wanted to make sure and went ahead... to my surprise no oil inside the pumpkin. That made me worry .. hope this pumpkin didnt have an open diff .. pumpkin literally looks brand new .. so I decided to open the pumpkin and verify.
YEHEY .. TO MY SURPRISE .. it is realy a damn brand spanking new TT LSD differential .. no traces of oil had been poured into this LSD Differential ... hhhmmm.. I will probably just sell this since it is brand new .. these cost almost $2k and just use my old TT LSD diff laying around...my friend didn't even probably know that he got a brand new TT LSD differential. He will be surprised .YESSSSSHHHHHHHHH !

I love your body work, I'm going to be trying to fix the same kinda things, dings and nicks, this summer. wish you were local, could learn so much haha.. Those small like hail dings, do u pull them out? if so with what tool? or do you just bondo it smooth?
So supra mk3 or 4 pumpkin is what should search for?
The W58 5 speed tranny can't hold much power .. it will more likely break before you can break your current open diff on your SC300. if you are making over 450rwhp that W58 wont last long... .if you dont want the expense of the 6 speed v160 getrag tranny , then go for an R154. For the differential, using the supra 5 speed diff pumpkin with 4.083 gear ratio and installing a TRD LSD will be a good strong rearend.
I am not sure what the gear ratio of your current SC300 5 speed differential, though I believe it will be almost similar to that of the supra mkiv 5 speed since they have same drivetrain (engine/transmission). If that is the case , installing a trd lsd on that pumpkin should work.

I was referring to the MKIV & SC300 5 speed pumpkin .

Stock JDM Supra 2jzgte engine will be installed initially before any of the upgrades.. just to get the car running and not complicate matters. These are USDM supra 2jzgte cams which I will throw in since they are just laying around my garage before I go to a more aggressive cams eventually .

JDM Supra MKIV 2jzgte engine going inside this SC400... engine still has the 6 speed flywheel/clutch/pressure plate but would be taken out since I am going with a built Boost Logic Auto Transmission on this car. On the other Lexus SC400 I will do a 6 speed swap.

For those asking about the Supra MKIV 93-96 and 97+ mounting brackets and mounts.. here they are for your info.
These are the 97+ mounting brackets and mounts
97+ mounting bracket are longer than the older ones
97+ mount is shorter than the older one
93-96 mounting bracket just like on my pre 97 supras are shorter than the newer one
93-96 mounts just like my pre 97 supras are longer than the newer one.
NOTE : If you want to use the TRD mounts , you will need the 93-96 mounting brackets since those trd mounst have same size as the older mounts., they wont work on 97+ brackets.

I am trying to reuse parts that originally were on this car so I can save a bit while am running on the stock setup. So I figure I will reuse the original SC400 radiator and relocate its overflow tank since I am using a MKIV or SC300 fan shroud. In the future when I have the aftermarket twins or single turbo and higher boost , then I will spend on the cooling system.
