roll and a pull will do it. but you are going to rub on that insulation in there..

Can you do a roll and pull even though the fenders are shaved?

Wow that's a bummer.. Even if you get them to fit it will probably look weird from behind with that much tire sticking out..

don't pull the fender -- if there's enough clearance between the spokes and the caliper, shave the wheel hub

It doesn't look like its shaved flat. He can still roll a little and pulling is easier when it's shaved. Less chance of wrinkling the fender. I would pull but if he's not willing to that then maybe putting in more camber. I just don't know how adjustable it is.

depending on how much material is on the hub will tell u if you can shave it or not and be safe.. are those multipiece??? if so smaller lip will do it, much cheaper than a two new rears wheels similiar situation with me but i had to buy two new barrels for the fronts!! i would have the body shop roll em and see what extra clearance there is but you definitely need some camber... sucks but not impossible..

I didn't shave the fender super close there might be 1-2mm left in there, but even if I sand it smooth, it still wont clear, I'm not willing to pull the fender cause I don't want to change the body line at all. Putting more negative camber is a great idea, but not a option because the cambers on these cars are not adjustable. I might go with Cheez80 idea and shave the wheel hub, but I'd have to look into that more to see if it's safe.

There was a thread on here where a guy said he put in more camber in to his rear suspension to get his wheels to fit. He said it was custom work but never really said how.

If you're talking about the camber work that Platinum VIP did, I already contacted them and they said they would need the car to be at their shop and I'm in a different state.

not going to expose any secrets but their method isn't the best for your car. shave the wheel hub or get smaller outers

So after talking to Tong over at VIP Modulars, we figured out why my wheels didn't clear. They mixed up the faces while assembling the wheel, the front face was on the back wheel and the back was on the front, now I just need to unbolt them and switch them.

Makes total sense. That should bring it in just enough

Yeah hopefully I don't break the seal, I'm not looking forward to switching them and going through the 160 bolts lol.

is shipping the wheels back to them to get it right out of the question? I wouldn't want to be spending my time sitting there and doing the work that someone else should have done.
