Got new battery installed last night. No issues. Actually moved and replaced 10 gauge cable going from fuse box to battery with new 4 Gauge wire going to my circuit breaker. A lot cleaner looking now. Battery bracket didn't fit like I wanted so I've drilled out the holding tabs and going to move them to fit battery better. Small tack job on them and then fresh coat of paint.

EDFC in gloebox. Need to elevate it about 1/4" and secure it. Still need to put covers over screws.

Well, cloudy haze wouldn't buff out of ashtray lid. Good thing I had another one. Changing lids was fun. Figured out how the spring on ashtray works though. Tightened mine up a little. New lid looks great. Also had broken relalease tab for lid. Had another one of those too and replaced. Very happy with everything now.

Your car is just super clean. Know anywhere local that steam cleans under the car. Lol

Well, the factory grill wasn't going to breath well with the 6-1/2 so I broke out a template and my drill and went to work. I think it will play a little better through the factory grill now.

Man awesome stuff....

Did you have a chance to install that Tein EDFC?

When I got my Cusco coilovers, I bought the cusco electronic controller with it...but it's been years and I haven't installed that thing yet. I was hoping to put it in while my interior was all apart recently, but didn't feel like messing with it. The control unit for it looks really similar to your in shape. I thought about installing it in the ash tray, but it was too big. I guess I put off installing the controller one more time because I didn't see a clean area to put it in.

Where are you planning on putting yours? The glove box maybe? That would be a good place.

97-SC300,

Look back up a couple of post and you'll see the controller in my glove box. It was an easy install. I actually elavated it about a 1/4" to make pushing the control buttons easier. Ashtray was an option but it would have had to be cut up pretty good. I'm actually installing an Escort 8500ci in there right now. Removed the lighter assembly and the display is going there. It's only 2" accross and 1" high. Fits perfect there.

Pulled the door pods I made out. Didn't like how the 6-1/2 lined up. I bought a used set of pods from Aliga to put my 4" Focals in for temporary, but now I'm going a different route. Stay tuned for pics. I think this will probably be the best option for guys doing there doors with after market speakers.

Had some time to work on my amp rack today. Three JL amps and Alpine DVD all stacked. My Alpine processor mounts underneathe the step up plate. Still need to make plate that mounts on top amp and the changer will mount to it. Probably do it out of 1/8" steel plate. Everything is tucked way back in wheel well. I think it's going to work great. I'll redo cover panel so you can see just the amp fronts and changer front.
