I have LS front brakes now with stock 300 one piston brakes on the back. I'm pretty sure that the 2 piston caliper and larger rotor of the TT rears is going to make a pretty big difference over the factory rears.

oh, i didn't notice for some reason on the pic of the car on the first page of the thread if the wheel size were making the front brakes seem smaller, or the car wasn't rockin the ls400 bbk at the time but def the tt rear are going to make a great difference.

Well, I've spent a little money this week.

Rear TT calipers (New in the box)
R1 cross drilled premium rotors
Factory Pads
Factory shim kit
Factory fitting kit

R1 cross drilled premium rotors (LS400)
Front factory pads
Factory shim kit
Factory fitting kit

BV Traction Arms
BV Rear Toe Arms

Next on the agenda is taking my CCW's to Atlas Plating in Houston to have them chromed. After they come back new Toyo Proxes 1's will be installed all the way around. Then off to Austin to have the trunk panels done for stereo and then to Calvo Motorsports for new fuel system and turbo. Hoping I don't have a heart attack before it's all done. After all this she will be done for a while. Of course I'd like to get all my intercooler piping chromed ......hmmmmm

Oh, and least I forget. I also bought a set of used rear TT calipers, rotors and pads that I will be listing in the classifieds soon.

Excited for you. Surprised you decided to go with TT rears, I am still on the stock rears. But I will be going with 17" rear CCW's in the future. You run bigger wheels than me, so I guess it doesn't hurt to upgrade.

Keep updating this thread!

Andrew,

Didn't think it would hurt to have a little more stopping power in the rear and the TT calipers look a whole lot nicer. I sent you a text about the other set. Yeah, my wheels don't have a problem clearing them.

Well, the water jet didn't like the grill very much (on right) I just went ahead and drilled it by hand.

My Supra calipers came in yesterday. Did a little sanding and taping then hit them with VHT aluminum to match my front brakes. They turned out really good.

I have a question since you are currently the wiring king on the forums lol
I figured you can shed some light..

I have a sub woofer upgrade and every once in a while I get like a wired frequency plus through the woofer it almost sounds like my it's picking up from my fuel pumps..but my pumps are wired to a relay..

What do you think it may be?

Everything is in. Going next week to have everything installed. Front calipers will be repainted also along with alignment. Should look great.

To be honest, I cant believe you painted over the Supra logo on the rear brakes.

Can you describe the up front bass you are getting from your Morel's ? Or is your audio setup not tuned yet ?
