I decided to go with vinyl. One of my friends owns a graphics shop. I didn't want to deal with taking everything apart just to paint the pieces. It looks just as good as paint to me and it's not gonna get all scratched up. I will get better before/after pics.
shaving gives you more clearance and looks better. the fenders will still look stock when done. SC's have very thick metal and have the holes and tabs on the part that you roll. so its hard to get it to come out perfect. my 97 was rolled front and rear.
So what was used to shave the fenders? Grinder? When you had the 97 rolled did it kink the fenders anywhere? I'm asking cuz I have a roller but I've never rolled on an sc before.
Damn, I'm envious of your Lexus collection. That ISF is beautiful, and I can't wait to see the SC all finished up with the 97+ kit!
thank u kind sir

yes a small cutting wheel. on my 97 the rears looked fine but the fronts got a little wavy where the body line is. when we rolled them flat.
Forgot to update this. The full 97+ exterior and Fujin front lip are on. Still waiting on the 97 fogs and front grill though. Better pics when the front is done...
