ProjectGS: My GS-F Build Thread
pdates: 12/25/2011
Sorry haven't updated in a while lol. Was super busy doing a few other cars. Now those are done, I can finally get back to my projects. Next few posts will have a TON of pix
Yes, I was working on my car on Christmas
Here's pretty much the money shot of the engine for my Sport Design GS. A few more finishing up touches needed here and there, but it's pretty much complete! It's going to be one beastly *** daily driver lol.

Just got the head back from the machine shop. My friend is the primary head machinist there and he does some crazy good port work as well. Took about 2 weeks, but it was worth the wait!
Check it out!

Putting the engine together! Please excuse the mess in the garage. I had about 5-6 projects going on at one point in time. Had so many engines and parts in the garage lol. Cleaning up slowly

Check out my new oil-less turbo

Here's some pictures of me putting together the engine for my white GS. Trying to get that thing back on the road. It's been sitting around for almost 2 years now lol.

My attempt at porting on the GTE head. Not as good as my friend, but not too bad either. Spent around 8 hours porting on this head.

Smooth, I'm actually planning on tearing down the engine for my GS400 and race building it. Ported heads, cams, pistons, rods, etc. Planning to put some boost to that sucker in the form of twins
If you're serious about building the motor, I can ask my machinist if I can get a better deal doing 2 engines

Throttle body looked kind of dirty and had some corrosion. Decided to take it apart and glass bead blast it. Good thing I have a media blast cabinet in the garage

Then I started on the fun wiring adventure of building a new wiring harness(or modify at least). Replaced all the worn or broken connectors, added fireproof nomex/silicone sleeve on the wires that get extra hot. Got about 50% done tonight but ran out of electrical tape.
