Everything with the headlights and fogs are 100% OEM, nothing has changed there. I DO want to make it so the fogs are independent, but that is something for down the road.
The LEDs are completely independent and wired to a 12v Remote Module that gets power directly from the battery and of course a ground. Very basic wiring 101. I do want to re-wire the remote module so it gets power from one of the courtesy 12v sources like a door or dome light because I want them to shutoff if I accidentally leave them on with the car off. But, to turn them on or off, I use one of the remote key fobs that came with the 12v remote module kit. On Button, Off Button...I like it because I can be over 100ft away and activate them like when walking up to car at night or just to show off the lights lol
yup. Must look pretty cool. I love your ride bro. Its coming along very very nicely
CJITTY, I was driving down Macland yesterday and I saw you coming down the other way. HOLY **** those LEDs look good, dude!
Oh snap!! Thanks homie! I thought that was you but saw you at the last minute..I have no idea how they appear to oncoming traffic so thanks for letting me know!! Appreciate ya!
Finally did the fog light mod..no more headlight babysitter required!! Props to Shibumi1 for the inspiration. He is truly the Fog Light Mod King #WiringGenius. Since I have an aftermarket HID kit for my fogs, I just bypassed all the factory wiring and used a relay and 12v accessory power source with hidden switch. Not as elaborate and pimp as Shibumi's setup, but I still accomplished the goal of being able to run my fogs without the nanny headlights all in the mix.

Im jealous so they are hardwired I am guessing with a relay and a switch sweet!
Yup, you got it...here is a pic of the hidden switch under the dash..the switch light is LED so it shines very nicely to show when they are on, but you have to look way under the dash to actually see the switch itself. I didn't want an aftermarket switch just shining in my face, so I like how it just glows toward the floor mat and carpet on the side console. They fogs are also wired so they will shut off when the car is off, so no battery drain issues.

Thanks. I can't really provide a write up on this because as mentioned in my first post, these are not using any factory wiring. To do what i did, you need an aftermarket 9006 HID kit, relay, switch and wire. If you are not good with wiring, you can call any car stereo shop that also does lighting (most do) and tell them you want the HID fog kit wired independently with a seperate switch and relay. Expect to pay one to two hours labor. I would say bet on at least $100. I could of done this myself, but honestly was lazy and had a guy do all the wiring for me.
I would also recommend using the search feature on this forum because Shibumi1 did a write up in the LS460 forum. His mod method actually still uses his factory switch,m with a series of relays and some diodes ..he's also a master installer and lives in FL..otherwise I would of paid him to do my car like his. The shops around here did not want to mess with the factory wiring because everything goes through the computer, so I gave up and just settled on a seperare hidden switch. My goal was achieved and I can go back to stock switch anytime by simply unplugging the ballast and reconnecting it to the factory harness, which is now idle and standing by. Keep in mind, I already installed my hid kit many many months ago and posted a DIY as well, so the appx cost of $100 is assuming you already have your HID fog kit installed.
