its amazing what a drop can do..when I dropped my 4x4 looking Acura TL Type S on HR Sports, my stock 17s looked huge afterwards..the machine finish and full face spokes also help with that. Like night and day.. Hondas/Acuras have ridiculous stock fender gap. The LS is not really all that bad, but the NF210 drop seems to be the perfect balance of looks and comfort. Now, gotta find a good deal #CLvendorsWhatup
20's can be done with the right wheels & drop, which gives it a nice compromise for ppl not wanting to go too large. Killing the wheel gap really gives the car a better look and the stance on the car above is perfect!
ICE350jet has come through for me in the PhotoShop forum..he went ahead put on the virtual drop. I can't wait to get these Tanabe's on after seeing these PS'd pics..appreciate you ICE!
Wow, the drop makes a huge difference. That's why all my cars have been lowered since 2004. My old south Florida GS boys taught me back then and I've been doing it ever since. Prior to 2004, I used to buy thicker tires to fill the gap but that doesn't work as well as the drop. Plus, there are other benefits with a lowered car.
I would still go at least 21's on an LS but the drop does make the car very attractive with 20's.
Yeah, I had drops on all my cars since I was a knucklehead airman in the airforce back in 1996, so I feel you that. It was the 2nd mod..tint was always first for me
The tanabes appear to meet my criteria:
1. Reduce fender gaps
2. High quality springs
3. Reduce rear sag on take offs.
4. Reduce front end dip during braking
5. Reduce floaty feeling but
maintain luxury ride
6. Give car the raked look..rear slightly higher than front.
7. Extremely good mod benefits to cost ratio. $260 and most likely attempt self install since I have access to a lift and wall mount spring compressor. Still debating on self install lol.
