when i inially did the swap it cost me 6k. This with everything. The engine was refreshed and completely stock. I dynoed the car and made 250 hp. Later I changed the tranny r-154 clucth, drive shaft, ect, labor 3k. I also bought a boost controller and a standalone then tune...290hp 325 tq 2k. I blew the stock turbo so i upgraded to a bigger single with a custom manifold and MORE custom piping 4k with labor and tune...380hp 330tq. But wait...i wanted more! 1000cc injectors, bigger intercooler, new aem standalone, new clutch (again), custom polish everything ie intake manifold , piping ect ect ect..5k with labor and tune.....470hp and 390 tq..... This is if you choose my path of course. Ive changed my setup and upgraded over the years to handle my power goals. You have to spend money to get it done RIGHT. Im sure armyof1 wont have any headaches with this swap and he can start and go when ever he likes. Thats what he paid for.....reliability. Ive spent $$$$ on my swap, and i have no complaints. I drive my car 60miles round trip to work everyday in AC with no problems...

congrats and well done ... loks real nice & great power also!

1 Q ...with that mani, couldnt you have possibly directed the output of the turbo down & forward Vs, up/forward/down behind the headlight to the foglight area & around to te IC..?

i was hoping to see the ouput set up to flow forward staying low, when using a manifold that hangs the turbo low like that (which i prefer...) with a small jog to the right into the headlight area and then around to the IC...you end up with a much shortened route/tubing to the IC inlet....

and a somewhat stealthier appearance

i do love NOT seeing a damn intake mani stetched across the top of the motor i do say!

what size cams are you running? Ive been looking for cams for a while but cant find one. Since the earthquake in japan sourcing parts is a no go.
