intro thread: new to me ls600hl

ideally you'd lower the car to the height and alignment that you'd want to drive at and then measure out how much space you have inside the fenders. i'm planning on running a 21x10.5" front and 21x12" rear, which isn't going to be possible without careful tire selection, custom arms for camber, caster and toe adjustment, and shaving and possibly pulling fenders.
if you're not willing to do all that work (especially all the measuring and custom stuff), see what other people are running on their cars on this forum -- i've been seeing 22x9/22x10 or 22x9.5/22x10.5 come up a lot so far. a friend told me he measured out a friend's ls460l and came up with a 21x9.5/21x11 setup, without too much fender shaving or camber.
good luck and let me know what you come up with!

i poasted this on another forum, and i guess this will be my official build thread on CL haha (that and i need to catch up post count-wise to some of the other guys here
so i was pretty pissed at the dealership's treatment of me after i bought the car (the front bumper was misaligned when i took delivery. when they fixed it the first time, it looked like they fixed the two bumper clips that i complained about, but broke every other clip holding up the bumper. they also were super unresponsive, and the car was delivered 3 days after it was promised, etc., etc.) so i complained to lexus corporate -- $500 service and parts credit yatta! i ordered a new smart card key (which the previous owner broke and the selling dealer wouldn't fix, which made me mad too. why would i buy a cpo car if you're not going to fix ****? arrrr) and a nav update this morning.
i'm also thinking about taking the car in for super-clear uv tint, just to help with uv/ir rejection (better for eyes/skin -- i don't wear sunglasses, and will help with aging of the interior too, apparently). thinking of going llumar air 80 -- does anyone have any thoughts about some of the other films out there on the market?
