Use the metal gasket! The other will blow out on you eventually.

 

I have that same adapter Mega, I was wondering if it was going to raise the turbo up to high. So I am subscribed to see how it goes.

 

^^yes it does raise the turbo up higher by at least 3 inches.

so earlier this week i started on reinstalling my headlights and fabbing up my front bumper..





i waned to cut the center line to allow more air and to view the intercooler better.








since my bumper really isn't haggard and the webbing in the paint is there but not that bad. i wanted to start fabbing up some true yellow aftermarket foglamps from a early model honda odessy.

they didn't come out great and need some tweaking and i might just take the bumper to a damn body guy to get it looking nice.








and finally i still love ebay. the highbeam lights do work. but you need to remove the oem clips, other wise they will not snap in.

 

Going to pick up some aristo injectors next week, on the cheap. Will have to get a map ecu before I install them though.

 

going to pick up a set of mk4 supra wheels(17's) for $200.00

Where did you come across these at? Siver or chrome? with center caps?

 

so all has been quiet in the lab really. working on the s13 and whatnot. waiting on more parts to get this **** going..

so last night seen a craigslist ad for some stock supra wheels. clicked on it and they were mk4's. looked further and they were the tt 17's. the guy wanted 200 with center caps. well he couldnt find them so i got them for 150.00. i have some pbm lugs that the spacers wouldnt fit on anyway. but still








and today my aristo 444cc injectors came in.

 

Use a "Plastic" razor blade found at recon distributors, a local dealership recon department maybe?

Then use heavy duty recon solvent. I personally like "Prosol" from Pro distributors.

Add a little heat and It'll get the adhesive off for sure.

That is a nice find on the TT wheels. Nice progress on the swap. The info on the wiring will be up soon. Please listen to the people who have done this before. i cant express that enough. I have learned so much on this website from everyone experiences. Keep up the good work Jim.. Keep us posted on the progress.

 

intercooler way too low buddy! raise that up till its a half inch or so higher than the bottom of the bumper.

 

if i raise it up and further then the piping won't be able to make it to the end tanks. i suppose i could tilt it forward somewhat??
