This is what im thinking. Hope its not a lack of power because the dyno Elite uses reads high from what ive seen.

 

There is no lack of detail. I got a itch for a gt-r but at the same time i could possible be keeping the car. Its all up to me. Elite got the car back up and running from everything they were doing. I have been talking to Andy extensively in the past few days. Once it goes on the dyno next week I will post the pics, video, and results.

There is no fishy stuff going on its just the fact that yes i have been waiting a year and due to my job ill be leaving real soon to go work with tier one operators. so i wont be enjoying it as it will be hitting the shows and magazines via representation from Elite and ISSForged.

I can tell you as of now i plan on flying up there picking the car up and driving it home. Just for some odd reason i have that idea in that back of my mind that i would like a GT-R in the garage also. Anyone in Miami have one i can drive to fill the void?

 

I'm fighting the GT-R itch as well. Been looking. The F might go up for sale this summer.

 

I would hate to have your job, whats the fun of toys if you can't enjoy them.

So Was i until two close friends both of which earn 4x way I do a year were complaining what that beast cost for "normal" maintenance! We ***** what OUR brakes cost!! Wait till you see their bill!! Not to mention their tire bills and trans and dif services! I for one will stick with... "well it's quick enough for my wallet."!

 

They are great and all, but I don't know if this is the forum to talk about jobs with ST6...I assume that's who you are talking about since you are a Marine.

 

Nope i have worked with them, 7 and 2 before but no thats not who i am talking about. im talking about in house. and its nothing you cant google so my opsec is fine.

As it sits now i need place to see and things to do on a two or three day trip from Milwaukee to Miami. after Minneapolis i plan on driving to Milwaukee to visit family and friends and then head home to Miami.

 

So guess who has video! Before everyone goes all high and mighty about omg that engine bay is the worst looking i have ever seen. this is just to prove its up and running. everything is in the process of getting buttoned up and tuning situated. then its off to the dyno (either fri/sat or early next week).

dam i can't watch due to work filters. ahh. ur engine bay can be all ugly but who cares, its all out the power and if it is functioning.

Forgive me Splat if its already been answered, but will the stock ECU correct enough to run it all WOT or is something else in the works?

meh, it's tough to get a clear sound. You can definitely distinguish that gurgling, muscle sound, but you cannot get a clear, distinct sound from the engine. Good to hear it's up and running though!
