I'll know a little bit more in a few days but my build my restart here shortly. I'm not going to get as much as i would like to have done in one shot but it will be drivable. I'm tired of it being in pieces and i can't afford a full out paint job so it looks like the spray can is gonna come out for the engine and interior.

hows everything looking?

Almost done some little things going to be missing like Oil Cooler, AC and some minor stuff. But I don't want to spoil the complete package until it's done... I need an alignment bad after putting all the Ikeya Arms on.

You guys will want this!!! Much more cost effective than the 2J - yah yah not JDM but who really cares? LOL

good news. this sucks if i would have stayed in the military i would be done by now with all the bells a whistles. Now I'm gonna be the "copy cat" when mine is done. when i started 7 months ago. haha its all good I just want the damn thing to drive under its own power again.

good luck getting everything finished up. I'll be calling to for a set of motor mounts here soon hopefully.

No such thing as a copy cat man... how many guys on here have turbo'd their NA or swapped a 2J? More than one - doesn't matter who's first often the second is even better because they learn from the first guy's mistakes!!!

I'll take pics of the arms after the car gets aligned.

All of the accessories work as planned!!!

Should be pretty simple with the mount kit Solo... we've been looking at a lot of Lexus cars and it seems like the tranny mount is the only part that would need to be modded depending on if you want to stay auto or go T56 manual!

I checked my PM...?

Hey Jay,

I havent been on this forum for awhile and here I am seeing the beast of a GS...or should I say GS570. I could of sworn we just talked about this over at Marina. Anyways...do your thing dude! Its looking hella sick so far...lemme get a ride when its done. And when all is done...call up Phil and reserve El Toro so you could do a Ken Block thing video...just with some Norcal flavor!

Ha sup G! Yah man after we talked... the search started for the chassis and that was that. I may be at Thunderhill in a few weeks to shake the car down but I may just hold out for Buttonwillow East Loop the week after we'll see.

Yes they will be selling the mounts. We've looked at a few SC's and it looks like they will work fine - hopefully there's someone in Norcal that wants to do this swap and we can verify right away. The way we wanted to design the kit wasn't only to work in 2GS but as many Lexus chassis as possible... as an alternative to a 2J swap. Dan should be joining the forum soon to answer any/all questions about the kit.
