Yes I Love the wheels too...!
No side marker here… That is a Lexus “Sport Tuned Suspension” Badge from an LS430.

I wanted to try this new application…
Also, D2 products come out of the very same factory where your K-Sport BBK is manufactured..

No Camber plates on the Lexus IS application.. I will try to snap a picture of the front tops tomorrow.. There is a shot of the tops of the rears installed..

The msrp is $1375 for these..

See my post #4 for specific lowering numbers.. The drop is dead even.

Lookin sharp, i really like the way ur car is coming along.
Also why did u go wiht these over say tein or tanabe or any of the common ones that everyone always goes for?

Fond from a site that they retail for around a bit less than $1400.
Correct.. msrp is $1375.. some sites will sell them for less..
I simply wanted to try something different..

did you feel the peer pressure::

btw, how do you adjust the dampening?
The dampening has 36 positions and is controlled with dials that are not attached..

Thank you all again!!!

I'm familiar with D2 because the have been around the euro scene for a while, nice to see another choice for IS owners.

Like Joe said, the D2 coilovers don't have camber plates - but the Megans don't have camber plates either - at least not on the 2IS application.

Right - one other difference between the Megans and the D2 coilovers is that the D2 adjustment ***** don't 'click' when you turn the adjustment ****. They have 'positions,' but they just don't 'click' like the Megans (and many others) do.

Overall, I'm very impressed with the D2 coils. I had a chance to drive Joe's car after the installation, and the ride quality and lack of suspension noise was quite pleasing. I've heard that the D2 coilovers tend to be on the 'stiff' side, but I was pleasantly surprised when I experienced the ride for myself. Congrats on the coilovers Joe - the car looks SOOOOOOO much better now! I just need to get my 'pretty gold ones' on now...

LOL - fair enough. I wasn't trying to bash in any way, because I dealt with the same questions about KSport. But I guess I am curious about the differentiators between the D2 coils and the other brands. Due to your rep on this board, a lot of members pay attention to the mods you make to your car (JoeZ intake, anyone? ). So I figured that there has to be a solid reason that you went with D2 over Tanabe/TEIN/H&R/JIC/yada yada. And since you're the first ISx50 with D2 parts (afaik), you've become the official D2 evangelist.

Don't get me wrong - your car looks bada$$.
