Project nextlevelcoupe 95 to 98 v8 transformation/restoration!!

Great example
This thread should be stickied for everyone to learn what is necessary to do a build/ conversion project properly. The combination of a clear purpose, forethought, and determination blended with patience that is involved in this effort should be a guide for many of the CL members rushing to mod their cars.
Hats off to you. Thanks for taking the time to share it all.

Here is a shot of the completed engine bay with all systems converted to 98 spec (only thing needed is an airbox):

as you all can see I've been quite busy with other aspects of the project while the electrical/mechanical work was being ironed out, but this interior part of the project was the most tolerable...All i can say is, Peanut Butter anyone?
**this interior is custom and not part of a premade kit, this same leather hide (smooth grain) is found in the bentley and aston martin cars**

Well, the car is now home and now the tedious work of finalizing the last of the details is about to commence..
things left to do:
(1) All small pieces of sandstone colored plastic/vinyl on my seats will be painted with Sems landau black dye. I already purchased all the other parts of a black interior- except black seats (so i can customize my beige seats).
(2) Compile parts needed for Carputer project
(3) Replace rear view mounted leather wrapped monitor & rearview camera, for stock dimmable mirrors, outside and in. (already obtained) - I want the rearview camera to be operated by carputer when reverse gear is engaged.
(4) Wire up side mirror turn signals (after dimmable mirror swap) and custom Daytime running lights.
(5) Wire up tein edfc unit
(6) Install interior
(7) Retrofit projector lenses for Oem HID bulb/ballast (I had aftermarket for lowbeams).**
(8) Restore Iforged rims/new tires
(9) Install damaged A/C line, purge system, freon fill & check for leaks.
(10) Repaint brake calipers
(11) Install All splashguards and wash/detail engine bay
(12) Install revamped custom Led Tailights**
(13) Possibly remove Tints and go clear w/ some kind of UV protection?
(14) PAINT!! **I might wait till after paint to install new tails and headights
-- still need stock 98 Airbox
It seems like this list just keeps getting longer and longer! Anyway, after all of this, the only thing I want to do is put gas in and drive!

loving it, that's what i want to do with my seats too...without the piping tho and in a slightly different shade (mustard yellow). are you going to give the door panel the same treatment? i think if you modify the door panel slightly (mainly the middle), it would look awesome
