Default IS300 TURBO project progress **many pics** UPDATE 10/27

for anyone curious....my car has been under the knife for quite sometime, in the trusty hands of Lance @ Toyomoto down in Miami, FL......
the parts list includes:

Engine

GTE block w/ TT pistons/rods
GTE headgasket
GTE fuel and oil pump
80mm throttlebody from GS400
PT-67 turbo .68 backhousing P-Trim
Tubular Turbo Header manifold
all metals polished chrome
Tial 40mm Wastegate
Vortech Blow Off Valve
Haltek E6X EMS
MSD DIS 4
Precision 780 CC Injectors
3 " custom piping (downpipe/midpipe) all the way to turbo exhaust w/ HKS canister

TRANSMISSION:

automatic transmission (A650E)
Valve Body Upgrade and Custom re-inforcement of tranny (sprag gears/clutchpack)
TRD limited Slip Differential
Upgraded high stall Torque Converter

Electronics

TRD gauge pod with Blitz AC Gauges: Boost, Pressure, EGT
Blitz SBC-ID boost Controller and Blitz Power Meter

Marc, I know you've been waiting for a long time for this to be completed. I guess it'll be worth the wait the minute you pull out of Toyomoto.

BTW, what happened to your SD grill?

oh man, the wait has been the hardest part....I just hope its completed before it SNOW's up here....

my SD grill is sitting in my garage, as are my titanium tail lights....new custom license plate, and some other goodies I plan on putting back on as soon as I have the car home...

the engine block alone was $1800 new from toyota, the turbo manifold $1800....etc etc etc....

definatly not cheap, and not "off the shelf parts" for the most part many custom items made....

my car is somewhat in between a stage 2.5 and 5.5 according to Toyomoto's website http://www.toyomoto.com/is300.htm
