I'm the same way with my cars after I buy them. It's relaxing and therapeutic for me to disassemble, clean or replace parts and reinstall. You really get to learn about the history of a car doing this. I've owned a bunch of cars but this one is by far the best driving and built car I've owned. After two years of ownership I still smile when I drive it.

I've put fewer than 250 miles on my car since purchasing it, but I have thoroughly enjoyed those miles. The build quality of the car is certainly impressive. That said, this car has made me appreciate the simplicity of my 1998 Chevrolet K1500.
