2014 ls 460
In 2019 I purchased a CPO 2014 LS 460 RWD with 43m miles. I also purchased thru the Lexus dealership an additional extended warranty (from MMP) with unlimited mileage, which is assumable to a buyer that will expire 6/2025. Due to COVID I started working from home, my initial driving expectations had declined dramatically. I currently have 72M miles on the car. I have had ZERO issues with the LS and enjoy driving it. I watch The Car Care Nut on YouTube and he has had some concerning potentially expensive repairs, (Coolant Leak, Heat Exchanger) things to say about the LS460, of which I have not experienced, which has caused me to wonder if I might be better off selling it before the warranty expires in 15 months. Anyone have any thoughts?
No, I've never had any issues with the car. I purchased the MMP warranty from the Lexus dealership at the time of purchase. I am the second owner, It's been a southern California car since it was originally sold. It was regularly maintained by the previous owner thru a Lexus Dealership and I have done the same. I'd like to keep it but my main concern is that it's now is a 10 year old car and years alone take there toll on cars even with limited usage and scheduled dealership maintenance.
