Default 1999 Ls400

This is my 1999 Ls400 with 276k miles. I recently bought it from the grandson of the original owner. I’m creating this thread to share my ownership of this car and any modifications or upgrades I do along the way.

Default April 2024 Update

Little update, since I picked the car up I’ve done a few things:
Replaced the starter (very not fun)
Valve cover Gasket
Both front caster arms
is250 sport rims (used and curbed)
Final Konnexion Cobra coilovers (used but decent)
OEM Toyota rain guards
Swapped the hood and rear bumper for ones in better condition (very lucky day at the junk yard)
Got new master keys programmed (if you know you know)
Kandy Kane LED Tails

The To-Do List:
Engine and Trans mounts (w/ coilover depot risers)
Install some beat (I have 2 12s w/ double din setup, just been lazy)
Power steering system (new pump/rack/lines)
Tuck wiring harness
Custom Exhaust setup w/ X-pipe

Im sure I’m forgetting something but that’s it for now, thanks for looking.

Thankfully the previous owner took care of that not too long ago. I want to get the underside steam cleaned so I can start address leaks one by one. Going to fix the power steering leak first since it’s the most obvious leak at the moment.

Little update, how it sits as of 07/15/2024:

19 inch Lowenhart LD1 Triple Chrome
Muffler delete, only the rear two not all four
New engine and trans mounts with risers
Aimgain badge-less grill
EBC front rotors and yellow pads

I’m pretty happy with how it’s looking. I think the next thing I’ll do is finally install the sound system I bought like 5 months ago.
