Fast Orange and Leatherique experience (Pics)

OK, this is scary to read and also know that many of you guys are doing this.
In short you're ruining your leather. Why? Well ask yourselves this question...one which I have asked those who also use Bon-Ami and Soft Scrub to clean their leather....How come producers of leather cleaners do not make products like Fast Orange to clean leather if it does such a great job??
Could it be because, as Guitarman already pointed out, that it's abrasive? Could it also be that those abrasives are creating fine scratches which fill with grit and grime and cause the leather to get dirtier faster which means it needs to be cleaned again thus leading to premature failure?
Those who are getting transfer color may have aniline leather which should be cleaned and treated different from coated leather.
Coated leather is cleaned and protected with a water-based dressing and not "feed" like early leathers. Some of you describing a "wax" like substance could possibly be witnessing your top layer of UV protection being wiped out.
Learn what leather type you have then learn how to properly clean and preserve it. Fast Orange is formulated for a specific job and I don't think it is to clean leather seats. Obviously if that be true it then should be safe to also clean your hair, correct?

I got fast Orange at Autozone for $.99 a bottle. So far I have cleaned my seats, floor mats, plastic parts of the car and spots on the carpet in my house. It works great. Leatherique can only be obtained over the net. You want to make sure and use some kind of oil on your seats after fast Orange because it dries the leather out.
