Question Best Wax

Whats the best wax for a silver car. I have tried Meguiars products and am satisfied, but I want a deeper and richer shine on my paint. I was considering trying the P21 wax, or even Zymol?? any suggestions.

Default Best Wax

ONE GRAND ...............First step Clay Bar Car....Then use One Grand Special Touch(clear coat cleaner) the use the One Grand Omega Glaxe(makes a high gloss)...Then finish off with One Grand Blitz Wax (carnauba wax) with this wax you can build-up layers on wax which is how you add depth and clarity to your paint. You may think this is a lot of work but it's worth it in the end,and a lot easier to keep clean after..................

Can't go wrong with P21 either. But prep is very important, as mentioned.

I have the exact same problem. I am not satisfied with the shine and lack of depth in the paint on my car.....

For some reason black GS's seem to have deeper shines................

Used the P21 on my wife's parchment 2k1 GS3 with very good results. This is one of the few areas where the darker colors get worth all the aggravation of having them. As a past owner of a couple of vehicles with silver color, don't expect the wax to do too much. If you are starting to get some oxidation, and silver is the worst for this and the worst to spot it on, you might need a little touch up polishing to begin with before you wax. Silver can be difficult to get to pop and it may never do so like a dark color but you can get quite a bit of depth in it, if the paint is in good shape.

I'm still happy with Zaino. And, not that it matters as far as the car's appearance, they smell great!

Nothing quite like watching a bee go crazy on a freshly zaino'd car.

What would be the cost of a balanced system of Zaino (polishers, wax, clay) I have used Zymol and mothers and like mothers products but cant seem to put a system togethor. I have heard so many good things about the Zaino I think I may have to try it. Also where is a good place to get the Zaino from?

You get zaino from zaino. I think http://www.zainobros.com (someone correct if not right). Seemed like whenever I placed an order with Zaino, it wound up being 2 to 3 hundred bucks.

I like to switch between products. So far these are the two combination of products I like to interchange

Option #1
Klasse AIO
Klasse SG (3 layers)
Poorboy's EX Sealant
S100 Paste Wax

or

Option #2
Zaino Z1
Zaino Z2 (2 layers)
Zaino Z5 (2 layers)
Poorboy's EX Sealant

With Aloha,
Ranney

I have just used the PoorboyEX sealant and S100 wax and was very pleased with them.

I started with a clay bar and then Meguires polish and then the sealant and then the wax. I have a silver car and the shine is incredible.
