Everyone's going to have a different opinion but I like using Lexol cleaner (orange bottle) and conditioner (pooh brown bottle).

If you have light coloured leather and see dirt or stains, what I do is use the cleaner and then grab a coarse brush from the dollar store to scrub into a leather, then wipe off. You may need to repeat that a few times but that worked for me when I was cleaning my saddle tan leather that was left dirty by the previous owner. After cleaning, condition w the brown bottle.

Zaino leather cleaner makes the seat smell like new leather again. Use a soft bristle shoe polish brush to agitate into the seats.

I've converted many people over to Leatherique. Just did my friend's 2013 F-150 the other day, and he's still excited with how great the seats turned out. Definitely brought a little life back to my '08 GS460, but if you search my threads, you'll see the difference it made on my parents' '02 Tundra. Excellent product.

Yep. I wouldn’t use Lexol or any other product.

I found Leatherique when I bought my first Ferrari and it just blew me away the first time I used it.

HI guys thanks for the great info, I just bought my first Lexus (a 4GS) and first vehicle with leather. I have been a truck and Jeep guy for several decades, so leather maintenance is new to me. Also new to me are the cooling seats. I’m assuming it’s ok to apply the Leatherique to these, won’t clog the holes?

Totally fine to use on perforated seats. Just don't dump it on. I personally like to pour a little into my hands, spread it around a bit, then work it into the seats; however, you can also use a soft applicator pad.

I’m not afraid to rub it in with my hands, as bad as that sounded, thanks again!

I would recommend Leather Honey or Lexol, you can find reviews of both products here
