How to reduce these wrinkles on seat
Hi Everyone,
Does anyone has this so called "wrinkles" on the leather seat on 2017 Lexus is200t?
The car is about 1.5months old. This pic is taken at the back rest of the driver seat.
All passengers seats does not have this issue.
The dealer say is normal stretch.
Anyone care to share on this issue?
Is there anything I can do to reduce this "wrinkles"?
Appreciated and thanks.

Hi,
Thanks for welcoming me to Club Lexus.
I think the seat materials are Nuluxe.
But according to the dealer, this is what they called the seat materials, Smooth Leather.
Dealer didn't mention Nuluxe.

Lead Lap
Slap on some Leatherique, let it bake in the sun for a while, then clean it off Worth a shot. But like the others said, those little wrinkles are just part of the texture.

IS200t.. with red stitching in seats.. You got the fsport seats which means its Nuluxe (Lexus fake leather). IMO, these will hold up better in the long run vs. real leather.
The stuff we are seeing looks normal to me. If you want to add protection, leather conditioners may or may not help. I personally use with Meg's Interior UQD as a cleaner (also leaves UV protection); and just started using 303 aerospace for the added UV protection.
Also, tint your windows (Illegal in some states, it is in mine but I do it anyways, *knock on wood* no tickets pls), this helps a lot with blocking the sun/UV rays from drying out the material. (And use a sunshade for the windshield)

I read a few threads on how to remove or visibly reduce the wrinkles using certain methods
such as using hot air blower to make the leather expand to it original look, using damp wrung
out cotton cloth to wipe it down and leave the cloth under the seat. Will it helps?

You're in CA (your location notes CA)? No need to fear, as tints are legal in CA AFAIK, as long as they are within limitations.
