Default Headliner cleaning

I've got an IS300 with the soft fuzzy tan headliner. The material seems fairly delicate, nearly like felt to the touch..

Of course it was perfect when I got the car, and of course I've marred it in a couple spots.

I hear Folex carpet cleaner is good for this application.

Any direct advice or experience is appreciated.

Try a Mr. Clean magic eraser with hot water. Rubbing back to front at all times. Im very OCD and this cleaned up any little light marks I had. If its really bad you may have to try something else. But id start with that because its cheap

The trick with headliners is not using too much liquid.

The fabric is attached with adhesive, and you want to avoid completely saturating the area in an attempt to not disturb the adhesive.

Start with some fabric cleaner on a towel and lightly wipe/blot the area. That will usually do the trick.

I use a damp microfiber towel along with upholstery cleaner. Use very very little cleaner, a few drops in a bucket of warm water. Works great, if you want go over the area again with the towel and pure water.

This method also works very well on cloth seats.

I spray a MF towel with a shot of this and then gently wipe the stain, some headliner can fuzz up so use a gentle touch do not rub too hard.

You can buy them a o'reilly too so it is easy to find. Also good around the house carpet.

Got out some kind of curry spray (not yellow turmeric, but I am guessing chicken masala) on the headliner like it was never there.
Now I also had found what I thought was a whole cup of greasy caramel macchiato that was spilled in the handbrake boot and between the seat that's another story.
