Default Handless machine wash with max air blow?

I see this place with this handless machine car wash with air blow at the end. It looks like the machine will rinse the car first, apply some foam, wash it off, and then dry it by blowing air to the car. I'm wondering whether or not this sort of machine will create swirls on my car. Does anyone have any experience on this?

forget it... those places will never get your car clean. i've seen people drive into them just to see lots of dirt still on the car when they come out the other end. it was down the block from Lexus on Northern Blvd. one guy pulled in and when his car came out the other side, their was still alot of Bird**** on his windows and dirt caked on the car. don't do it.

It won't create swirls, but like syd says they don't work very well.

not to mention the type of soap they use and the dirty recycled water.

Thanks all. My friend went there for a car wash today. Like what you guys described, my friend's car came out the same as before - dirty.

As already mentioned, they simply don't clean the car well. Also, the chemicals used to attempt to clean your vehicle are quite harsh and can easily diminish or completely remove the wax from your vehicle.

I had a customer drop his car off with me and told me JUST took it through the touchless wash to save me some time so I wouldn't have to wash it. I told him I would do a full wash anyways and I would take a picture to show him why... Here is the picture of my rinse water after I had washed his car that JUST went through the wash.

Exactly right.... while technically they won't warm the paint they also don't do much in the way of cleaning it either.. There is no substitute for a good 2 bucket hand wash.
