Default Rock chip repairs

It's been 5 years since I had a rock chip repaired. Have they come up with any improved methods since then? I didn't think the last repair I had was done very well.

That repair was for another car. This is a rock chip on the windshield.

Oh, oh yeah your pretty much out of luck. I would say that you could fill with resin but it will still show. You should try to get it fixed if its big. I think the only thing that is supposed to help repel this is the opti coat glass.

you can get the windshield repaired for free with your insurance. iyou can do it about 12 times a year and your rates wont go up. just find a place that will do it.

I was hoping that the've come up with better techniques to fix these, so that the resin would be less noticeable
