rust check...
so i have thinking of getting rust treatment before winter from a pro ..but for a full treatment they are going to drill holes like in side doors for better treatment..anyways has any one done this kind of anti-rust treatment??

Rust treatment in Texas? Really? All the metal panels on our cars have been dipped in rust preventatives and an e-coat. I doubt that you need any rust treatment. I live in the midwest where our roads are covered in salt for three to four months out of the year and I have no rust on my 2004 RX330 nor my 20 year old 1991 Toyota MR2. Save your money and have the car detailed. I expect your paint will go long before your car body rusts out.

The only thing that's gonna rust is the undercarriage components. If the body and body panels are original without any type of bodywork, and aren't scratched or dinged to the bare metal, I would NOT be worried about any rust issues on a Lexus car.
Nissans or Infinitis.... well that's a completely different story from what I see around here in Chicago.

LOL, I was puzzled by that query coming from Texas.
Our midwest area means driving on salt covered roads for 2-4 months of the winter. The Lexus seems pretty decent at not biodegrading in our environment.
I can recall the ads of decades ago from Ziebart around here. This was a company that started doing rust treatment. That business model has not panned out for them so now they do details. Their approach was to drill some holes i and spray a smelly, tarry, fiberous substance around. After a couple years this would degrade and fall to the bottom and plug the water drainage holes causing more rust than it prevented, IIRC. Rest assured that the Lexus is dipped in rust preventative chemicals and then dipped in an e-coat to seal the body panels from rust. I have no rust problems with my 2004 RX nor my 20 year old Toyota MR2 that was a daily driver for most of its life.
