plastx isn't working on inside of headlight
Meguirs plastx has always worked perfectly for me the outside lenses of my headlights. This time i had moisture in a headlight so i split it. There is a nasty residue after i dried it out in the oven. I use those blue disposable shop towels to polish and dry (they've always worked on the outside). Any recommendations. I was looking at what OLT was using in his "HOW TO" clean your headlights forum, but it looked like a wax?

He did use wax to clean his up. The only way I got rid of the minor staining on the inside of my headlights was with a true polish such as Menzerna FPII or M105 by hand. It helped but with the time I spent cleaning mine, it is much easier to buy another lens cover
Just do multiple shots of PlastX. It works but it takes a long *** time...

I actually found it impossible to split after 5min at 275 degrees, then the next day i tried 300 for about 7 mins and it came apart easily.

Update: I eventually had to get a 3m headlight restoration kit. Polishing even with a buffing wheel and drill got me nowhere. I had moisture damage on the inside of the lens. It had to be sanded in multiple stages down to a wet 3000 grit disc then polished. It was alot of work and isn't perfect, but very good.
