Default plastx for gauge cluster scratch; how much elbow grease?

i had a pretty deep scratch on my is250's gauge cluster and i didn't think plastx would work, but it did! maybe it wasn't too deep of a scratch to begin with, i don't know, but i was able to feel it with my finger nail. after about 30 minutes of work, i got about 95% of the scratch out, i'm assuming the deepest part of the scratch is what's left. now, can you over do it when using this stuff?

I had ugly drip marks all over the clear plastic cover on my speedo/rpm/gear gauge cluster that would not come off with a soap and rag so I assumed they somehow where on the inside and it would be almost impossible to remove. One day I tried PlastX just to see and to my amazement the drips started going off which was very welcomed. It was not easy trying to do as it was awkward trying to work around the steering wheel and getting in around the plastic surrounding the gauges and took some pressure and using q tips. I did not get all this stubborn spots but got most of it out. You may create some micro scratches with PlasticX but if it got those ugly spots off I was willing to live with it.

I had excellent results with plastix products. I fixed a foggy UV damaged vinyl convertible window with these products many years back. These products have stood the test of time.
